Fall TV’s Hotties

October 17, 2012 by Harper Bliss 1 Comment

I don’t know about you, but I’m having big trouble deciding who the new TV season’s biggest hottie is. (Yes, I do lie awake at night figuring out the answer to questions like this—then again, I just came off a massive case of jet lag, which might have had its influence.)

Here’s my ever fluctuating top 5.

Katey SagalGemma Teller (Katey Sagal) in Sons of Anarchy

I just love a manipulating matriarch in a leather jacket. And I definitely love Gemma’s (implied) taste for the ladies this season.

Connie NielsenMeredith Kane (Connie Nielsen) in Boss

Remember when Connie Nielsen replaced Det. Benson in Law & Order SVU for a while and we all wished she’d replaced Stabler instead so Olivia could finally come out? No? Oh, just me then… Anyway, Connie Nielsen is chillingly spectacular as the mayor’s wife in Boss.

Madeleine StoweVictoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) in Revenge

We all have our guilty pleasures. I’ve been dreaming of a Revenge/Sons Of Anarchy cross-over for months. Imagine the bitch off Gemma and Victoria would have… generations would speak of it.

Connie BrittonRayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) in Nashville

I’m from Europe and I live in Hong Kong (aka I don’t know the first thing about country music), but then Connie Nielsen took to the stage and I was hooked.

Monica RaymundGabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) in Chicago Fire

I prayed for her to play the lesbian character on the show, but the god of TV didn’t listen. Never mind though, in Chicago Fire paramedic Dawson is in uniform all the time. Hot. Plus, Monica still has some credits from that time she hit on Kalinda in The Good Wife.

Sunday Snog – New Girl

October 14, 2012 by Harper Bliss 6 Comments

Sunday Snog

Today’s snog is a short one from my story New Girl, which you can read in the Free Stories section (which I’ve rearranged somewhat). Enjoy!

“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.” Nina’s nails dug into Liz’ skin, making a point Liz couldn’t ignore even if she wanted to.

“But―” Liz stammered, clearly having lost use of her mental faculties again. “You’re not even gay.”

“Says who?” Nina lowered herself until her lips almost touched Liz’ unblemished right cheekbone.

“Have you ever even kissed a woman?” Liz felt as if she were digging her own grave, but she had some decency left.

Nina pressed her lips against Liz’ skin and then trailed them to her ear. “I have now,” she whispered.

Do stop by Victoria’s blog for more lip lock action!

Six Sentence Sunday #8

October 14, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Champagne continues for Six Sentence Sunday…

“Do I need one?”

“Not as far as I’m concerned.” She let her glance drop down into her glass. “Thanks,” she murmured. “For trying to cheer me up.”

“Do you want to talk about it?” Part of me was dying to hear her story, while the other part just wanted to kiss her despair away.

As always, more Six Sentence Sunday goodness can be found at the official website. I’ll be back with the next six sentences next week.

Tidbits

October 12, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

I’ve been neglecting my blog. I know. But seriously, I’ve been so busy lusting after a slew of hot women now that the new TV season has begun. I’m currently working on a top 5 of my favourites, so I’ll be sending some hotness this way soon.

And… today you can find me over at Smut in the City’s co-editor Victoria Blisse’s blog, talking about how I DIDN’T tell my parents that I write erotica on my last visit home. I mention a pink dildo though, so you may want to check it out.

In pub news… My next release will be a collection of all my stories for Ladylit so far called Can’t Get Enough, and it will be available in paperback and e-book.

No worries though, I’m working on new stuff… something I’m terribly excited about that I’ve dubbed the ‘High Rise Series’ and will be set in ‘the sexiest building in Hong Kong’. Expected release date for the first novella in the series is 21 November.

That’s it for now. Unless, that is, if you want to have a look at my redesigned Books page… 😉

Six Sentence Sunday #7

October 7, 2012 by Harper Bliss 2 Comments

Seven times six equals forty-two. Finally, some progress. 😉 Read what happened before at the Champagne page.

“Such gentlemanly behaviour for a woman,” she said and lifted her glass.

“You looked like you needed it.” I held her gaze, even though I could feel it drifting away already.

“I always do.” Unlike her eyes, her voice sparkled. Her accent harboured that New York confidence I always believed only existed in movies. But she was real and I wanted her even more. “What’s your excuse?”

Six Sentence Sunday #6

September 30, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Champagne continues, six sentences at a time (well, technically nine this time, but I really couldn’t separate the last three.

She fixed a pair of moss green eyes on me, devoid of any hope or sparkle. That’s when I knew I had made the right decision. I also realised it wasn’t so much about helping her as it was about doing this for myself. Despite her desperate demeanour and the lack of life in her eyes, I was strangely attracted to her. Just like that it had hit me. I’d seen her and I had felt it ripple through me. A shot of desire up my spine. A sudden tingle between my legs. Sometimes it’s as simple as that.

As always, more Six Sentence Sunday goodness can be found at the official website. I’ll be back with the next six sentences next week.
