New Release: Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies

April 13, 2013 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies

Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies is out today and my story Stair Walking appears in this mixed F/F and M/M anthology (mine is F/F, of course. ;-p)

Here’s the official blurb

Ah, the allure of the office romance. The sly smiles across the room as you wonder if anyone else knows. The danger of being caught by the boss. The thrill of those stolen moments in the copy room or supply closet. It’s this feeling that we’ve condensed, distilled, and captured in the short shorts of Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies. We’ve compiled thirteen brief tales of men and women getting it on with a co-worker or a boss in a steamy office romance.

Some of them are established and have been sneaking around the office for some time, like Lori Hunt and her P.A. Ms. Lovell in She’s the Boss or Tom and Neal in Personal Assistance. Others, like The New Guy’s Greg and Eli or the awkwardly-named Rebecca A. and Rebecca B. from Tele-Romance are just beginning to experience the allure that can come from keeping the secret. Nor are such trysts confined to the office itself, spilling out into stairwells, copy rooms, gyms, and even computer server rooms. Whatever the case, though, they’re sure to arouse your imagination, and maybe even leave you looking at your own co-workers a little bit… differently.

Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies includes:
Skype Wars by Rob Rosen
Hands On by K. Piet
One Week by L. Alonso Corona
Working Lunch by Ann Anderson
Personal Assistance by K. Lynn
She’s the Boss by Angel Propps
The New Guy by John Amory
Stair Walking by Harper Bliss
1-888-BOREDOM by Raven de Hart
Fair Play by Anna Hedley
His Nonexistent Coffee Break by Lor Rose
Tele-Romance by Erik Moore
Three Strikes by Piper Vaughn

My story Stair Walking is about two female co-workers who get it on in the stairwell. Well, of course, it’s a bit more complicated than that (and one of the characters is based on a real life colleague from my very first job. Just the character though, nothing else!) As usual in my short stories there is some fem dom going on. And that stairwell with the flickering light is definitely a good spot for some office hanky panky! 😉

Here’s an excerpt:

We descended in silence, the only sound the ticking of my heels on the concrete stairs. Click-clack, they went, ominous sounds in the darkness. Click-clack—the same rhythm as the throbbing between my legs.

When we reached the half-lit area of the stairwell, the one where she’d cornered me a few weeks earlier, she stopped dead in her tracks. She dropped her bag to the floor and crossed her arms in front of her chest. Her V-neck was orange, the blouse underneath pitch black.

“I know why you followed me in here that day.” Her voice was lower than usual and a little alcohol-soaked.

“Oh, yeah?” I leaned against the wall, acutely aware of the moist goings-on underneath the carefully ironed fabric of my skirt.

“I could practically smell it on you.” She took a step closer. “Like a bitch in heat.” I inhaled the wine on her breath.

“Why am I here, then?” The lamp blinked above us, erasing our presence for a split second.

“As if you don’t know.” Slowly, she let her jacket slip off her arms. It fell to the ground with a rustling whisper.

Of course I knew. I just hadn’t expected it. The sudden authority in her voice set my blood on fire, driving it, beat by beat, to my pulsing pussy lips. In response, I locked my eyes with her blazing brown ones and bit my bottom lip. As a yes, it would suffice.

“Unbutton your blouse,” she commanded. I had known it would be this way. I had seen it in her glance that day I craned my head around the door frame of her office. I’d deducted it from the aura of controlled silence in which she wrapped herself. The quiet ones always know best.

Gay & Lesbian Coffee Break Quickies is available as e-book and paperback from Storm Moon Press. You can also get it from All Romance eBooks. Enjoy!

Dreaming of Anything She Wants

March 22, 2013 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Call for submissions: Anything She Wants This one’s for the writers among you. Just a gentle reminder of my open call for Anything She Wants. The call only closes on May 1, 2013, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to jog your memories. 😉

I’ve received a few quality submissions already, but I need more, more, more… I’m a very open-minded gal and I’m not picky about subject matter, as long as the writing is stellar (opening sentences are very important!)

I lie awake at night dreaming of how smoking hot Anything She Wants can be, boasting a wild variety of girls getting it on, written in the most tantalising prose. (All right, truth be told, as soon as I close my eyes I mainly dream of cougars and Kristin Lehman, but hey, we all have our thing.)

More than anything though, I hope to be able to put together such a good collection of short stories in order for Anything She Wants to become a series, putting out a sizzling new volume every year for Ladylit‘s birthday. Hey, I like to dream.

So, please send your f/f stories my way. And if short stories are not your thing, Ladylit has a general call for submissions out as well for longer titles. We’ve signed our first author this week and we’re very excited about publishing her historic lesbian romance novelette in May.

Now excuse me while I dream on. 😉

A Woman’s Touch (Free e-book)

October 19, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

A Woman's Touch Time to spice up your Kindle with this hot little collection of five lesbian erotic stories (including one by yours truly).

A Woman’s Touch is FREE on Amazon from today until 23 October!

Here’s the blurb:
An Xcite Books collection of five lesbian erotic stories with mixed themes including f/f, contemporary, menage, historical, BDSM and female submission.

A Woman’s Touch by Kathleen Tudor
Cassie’s marriage is safe but predictable, and she knows there’s a world of excitement she is missing out on. Taking the plunge, she meets up with the experienced Sam, who is only too willing to show her the pleasure of a woman’s touch.

The Lock-in by Alice Candy
When Roxy and JJ go for a quiet weekend to the Highlands of Scotland they expect to escape their hectic London lives and have a few days of peace and quiet to get to know each other better. Popping into a country pub for a drink, they encounter a sexy young barmaid who is determined to show them a good time and invites them to stay for their own private lock-in. Roxy thinks she’s seen it all before and has agreed to a weekend in the sticks to relax but the couple soon find that maybe these Highlands are more exciting than they thought and a lock-in in this particular hostelry is not what they had imagined …

Overtime by Harper Bliss
For Laura, working at a major law firm means most of her nights are spent working overtime on one of her many cases, all in an effort to please her ruthless boss Cathy Turner. When she gets called into Cathy’s office late one night, the verbal chastising she was expecting turns out to be a much more physical experience than she could ever have imagined, giving a whole new meaning to getting “hands-on experience”. Overtime has never been so hot …

Lam-dancing by Lynn Lake
Sally just lost her girlfriend and is about to lose her apartment, maybe her job down at the dime-a-dance hall, too. It was the Great Depression, and times were tougher than a five-cent steak for a girl all by herself in the big city. Until someone grabbed onto her waist and hand at the dance palace who was in even a tighter spot than Sally was, set things in motion. And suddenly, just like that, happy days were here again!

Cherry Red by Jayne Wheatley
Air stewardess Anna thinks it will be just another day in the sky as her early morning flight takes off. Beguiling passenger Lottie captures her attention very quickly, and it isn’t long before she is flustered. Lottie becomes very afraid of the turbulence and hides in the toilet. Anna, the dutiful stewardess, consoles her, and soon the situation turns very heated. But as Anna becomes ever more submissive to the wishes of her passenger, it turns out this is no ordinary flight, after all…

These stories have also been published in Lipstick Lovers.

Go on then, you know you want to. 😉

Smut in the City

September 6, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Smut in the City Smut in the City is out today. I have the great honour of lezzing it up with my story Neighbours, set in über-city Hong Kong.

Blurb for the anthology
Sultry, smouldering sex in the city is the theme of this erotic anthology, edited by Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

From the stifling heat of the London Underground to the crumbling walls of Rome’s Colosseum, Smut in the City has it all. Whatever your interpretation of sultry urban sex, there’s something nestling between the covers for you. Lusty couples, horny office workers, hunky bakers and gardeners, tourists and the Mafia are portrayed for your titillation in this exciting collection of stories from erotica’s finest authors.

And here’s a little snippet from my story Neighbours:

“So you like to watch.” Joan closed the door of her apartment behind them and leaned against the small dining table. Her lips curved into an audacious smile. ‘How would you like it if you were the one being watched?’

Karen stepped closer and peered into Joan’s eyes. ‘But you’ve only just showered.’

“And you weren’t there to see.”

“I had a party to attend.” Karen placed her hands on Joan’s hips. “The people you meet at these things.” She snuck her hands up Joan’s sides, lifting up her top in the process.

“Tell me about it.” Joan’s breath caught in her throat as Karen jerked her tank top over her breasts.

Karen pressed her body against Joan and kissed her. She could feel Joan’s nipples stiffen through the fabric of her bra. Joining Joan in the shower hadn’t made it to Karen’s fantasies yet—they’d been more traditionally located in the bedroom—but it looked like she wouldn’t need to waste any time on imagining that one.

Joan’s lips nibbled their way to her ear. “Let me show you to the bathroom.”

Smut in the City is available from:
– Amazon US
– Amazon UK
– All Romance

This anthology is very special to me because, quite simply, it’s the first one I have a story in. I’m fairly new to the erotica scene, but I’ve found every minute of exploring it exhilarating and exciting. Here’s to many more of my stories popping up in various anthologies… and thank you Victoria and Lucy for giving me my first break!

Cool

August 15, 2012 by Harper Bliss Leave a Comment

Smut in the CityRemember ‘Cool’, the best Gwen Stefani song ever (No Doubt included)? Of course, in the song, she’s only pretending to be cool about her ex getting with another woman. That’s how I’ve been feeling all day. I’m desperately trying to be cool about my submission to Smut in the City being accepted, but, well, it’s not really working out.

Why so excited? Well, check the following list of contributors to this ‘Tales of Urban Passion’ anthology:

  • A long, hard Hammer by Sommer Marsden
  • A Tale of Two Sisters by Toni Sands
  • Glory Box by Cassandra Dean
  • Her Secret Garden by Viva Jones
  • Lights Out by MA Stacie
  • Mad fer it in Machester by Victoria Blisse
  • Love of my Life by Wendi Zwaduk
  • Neighbours by Harper Bliss
  • Taking Care of Business by Lexie Bay
  • Saturday on a Tuesday by Giselle Renarde
  • The Conjuror by Tabitha Rayne
  • Underground Encounter by Tamsin Flowers
  • Verona by Geoff Chaucer
  • Within the Crumbling Walls by Lucy Felthouse

Yep, that’s my name amongst some of the brightest stars in erotica. Nope, I’m not cool. I’m practically foaming at the mouth at the mere sight of it.

My story ‘Neighbours’ features two lesbians (of course) getting it on in Hong Kong. More info on Smut in the City here >>
