Six Sentence Sunday #6

Champagne continues, six sentences at a time (well, technically nine this time, but I really couldn’t separate the last three.

She fixed a pair of moss green eyes on me, devoid of any hope or sparkle. That’s when I knew I had made the right decision. I also realised it wasn’t so much about helping her as it was about doing this for myself. Despite her desperate demeanour and the lack of life in her eyes, I was strangely attracted to her. Just like that it had hit me. I’d seen her and I had felt it ripple through me. A shot of desire up my spine. A sudden tingle between my legs. Sometimes it’s as simple as that.
